What to expect
- 1Check what you need — Bring your record if you have one — we can also pull it from the state registry.
- 2Quick review — We check allergies, timing and whether anything should be spaced out.
- 3The shot — Given by a nurse, with a short wait afterwards for anyone with an allergy history.
- 4Documentation — Updated record printed for you and filed with the Maryland immunization registry.
When to go to the emergency room instead
Chest pain, trouble breathing, heavy bleeding, sudden weakness or confusion, a serious head injury, or any symptom that feels life-threatening — call 911 or go to the nearest ER. We'd rather you be safe.
