What to expect
- 1Ordered during your visit — No separate appointment or imaging centre — we do it in the room next door.
- 2Images taken — A few minutes with our technologist. Low-dose digital equipment, no film.
- 3Same-visit read — Your clinician reviews the images with you before you leave.
- 4Formal report — A board-certified radiologist over-reads within a day and we call if anything changes.
When to go to the emergency room instead
Chest pain, trouble breathing, heavy bleeding, sudden weakness or confusion, a serious head injury, or any symptom that feels life-threatening — call 911 or go to the nearest ER. We'd rather you be safe.
